Master in Sport management: Judo Fontenebro case
The Master in Sport Management is evolving from analyzing provided cases to personal contribution cases. A couple of days ago I asked in the social media to study the scenario of an athlete’s environment. Lucia Mora from Spain, offered her Judo Fontenebro Club to be studied.
The aim of the case is to study Fontenebro’s environment and sort the relevant data into the marketing mix model of 4P’s: product, price, placement, promotion. The main information sources are the personnel of the club, other competitors and Fontenebro’s website. As an extension to the case, some proposals are done to improve the marketing strategies and advertising actions.
Judo Fontenebro case could be expanded in the future if some extraordinary work is required by the master, with a financial study or sponsorship development plan. Stay tuned!
